Skolt Sami Cultural Centre

We wanted to design a building that embodies the core values of skolt sami culture: Practicality, respect for nature and ecological way of life. The building is designed to vitalize the skolt sami culture acting as a meeting point for the community. The challenge was to create a built image of a culture devoid of building tradition.
