An extension to Finlands longest serving president Urho Kekkonen´s skiing lodge - now the most romantic boutique hotel in lapland. New main entrance, Dining hall, and four Sky-suites were added in front and on top of the existing timber structure as three copper clad volumes. The new interior materials are blackened wood, untreated copper and super large window openings. The interior is dominated by dramatic chages in spatial scales changing from high main hall, trough low attic hallway ending up with 3,5 meter opening overlooking the National Park Urho Kekkosen kansallispuisto from the new Sky-suites.
